The statewide general election is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. San Carlos voters will elect members of the San Carlos School District Governing Board and consider Measure K, the district’s local education funding measure.

Candidate for Governing Board
Richard F. Wahl is an optician, parent, Navy veteran and community steward running for San Carlos School District Member, Governing Board. His campaign focuses on educational excellence, responsible stewardship, collaborative leadership and opportunity for every student.
Local Education Funding
Measure K is the San Carlos School District Local Education Funding Measure of 2026. The measure proposes a $489 annual parcel tax, subject to annual cost-of-living adjustments, with exemptions described in the official measure materials. Approval requires two-thirds of voters casting ballots on the measure.
