How to read the comparison

Useful context—with important limits.

One consistent measure

These are city-level median sale prices for all home types, reported by Redfin for June 2026. Redfin states that its calculations use home data from MLS sources and/or public records.

Median is not “typical value”

The median is the midpoint of homes sold during the reporting period. It can change when the mix, size or number of homes sold changes.

Cities are not districts

City and school-district boundaries do not perfectly align. These figures describe city housing markets and should not be read as school-district statistics.

No causal claim

This comparison does not establish that Measure K—or any single school policy—causes changes in home prices. Housing values reflect many interacting factors.

What the numbers show

All five are high-cost Peninsula markets.

The June 2026 medians range from approximately $1.95 million in Redwood City to $3.29 million in Menlo Park. Four cities were above their June 2025 comparison; Belmont was 1.3% below. These are descriptive market snapshots, not rankings of schools or communities.
